Employee portal for entering invoices/expenses
Have a place for employees to enter invoices without being able to view all the books. The portal would be customizable in terms of which items and accounts could be used and how they appear to the person entering the data. Entered items would appear in an area for approval by a manager/owner before recording them into the books for real. PDF Emails/Downloads would be needed. This could be developed as a totally seperate application, really.
One way to do this now would be to use a FreshBooks account for your employees and import that into Clarity Accounting.

I use Freshbooks for this, it's a very good integration with Clarity. There is a Freshbooks iPhone app as well that allows this as well, it is a very good portable option for employees. Freshbooks has the added bonus of a customer portal as well for viewing and paying invoices.

Could be done via FreshBooks if FreshBooks integration were complete.
